Moving from the public sector to make a large impacts at the forefront of business
I've always wanted a job that has broad public impact, which is why my first career move was to become a government official. I thought I could have an effect on the entire country through enacting and enforcing laws and ordinances, planning and implementing policies, etc. While I felt fulfilled as a full-fledged member of society, I just couldn't give up to follow my aspiration for business. I heard about BayCurrent at that time and felt that in such an industry and company, I could potentially do what I originally wanted to in the business world. Namely, consultants can impact client companies, their customers, and ultimately the economy and society as a whole through their work. One can only do that with an environment and opportunities that foster top-notch growth as a businessperson and consultant. In my case, BayCurrent provided that.
Gaining cross-industry knowledge through diverse industry experiences while building mutual encouragement
One great thing about BayCurrent is its established culture of valuing people. In my day-to-day work, I feel that employees respect each other. As an example, my colleagues always give me advice on how I can increase motivation and performance output during projects. Another great thing is that we're blessed with many opportunities. We have chances to gain insight into the realities of and knowledge in various industries as BayCurrent doesn't separate us by industry. Through that, I can gain knowledge that crosses industry boundaries. Also, even young employees have plenty of chances to grow within projects—discretion is given to those who show ability. When I actually joined the company, this environment and these opportunities proved to be even better than I could have imagined.
Continuing to put my best into everything and improve capabilities
I want to keep doing everything I can to make the best use of BayCurrent's well-sorted environment and opportunities, and I think that's the key to understanding when I can improve myself. To do that, I need to face myself head-on and put my best into everything. Luckily, I'm around so many senior employees whose backgrounds, capabilities, and potential give me multi-faceted inspiration, and team members also earnestly offer me advice. Moving forward, I want to become a consultant who can gain peoples' trust both internally and externally through interacting with a variety of clients and team members and working on various projects.
