Moved the client with passionate dedication to CX strategy formulation project
Since joining BayCurrent, one project that left a particularly strong impression on me was a CX strategy formulation project for a life insurance company. In this project, we started by visualizing the client's position, defined a unique "CX maturity level" based on meticulous current state analysis, and quantitatively evaluated the provided CX and its driving structure. Building on this assessment, we developed a roadmap to achieve global top-level maturity within the next three years.
Discussions within the client team were often contentious and had difficulty reaching consensus due to disagreements in perceptions of CX. Additionally, significant course corrections were needed in the middle of the project, posing considerable challenges. However, the members of the BayCurrent team, with their passionate desire to “create better results together with the client,” engaged in multiple in-depth discussions with the client to find solutions. Ultimately, we were able to craft a CX strategy that both the client and ourselves were fully satisfied with.
Value that only BayCurrent can provide
The approach of working closely together with clients is a significant characteristic of BayCurrent. BayCurrent places great importance on being a "companion" rather than a "critic" for clients, and you can see this strong commitment to run alongside our clients in many of the consultants here.
Another major trait of BayCurrent is the "One Pool" system, where consultants belong to a single department without industry boundaries. With a variety of projects spanning different industries and themes, there exists a culture that encourages consultants who harbor a professional mindset and skills to take on a multitude of challenges. I have raised my hand saying, “I want to try this”, and as a result, I've been able to broaden my experience, including recently tackling projects in the sustainability domain. This culture that values taking on challenges is a defining characteristic of BayCurrent.
Aiming to grow alongside our clients
In the future, I would like to focus on project deliveries that not only achieve results but also facilitate the growth of both the client and BayCurrent members. Recognizing that "human resources" are the primary driver of success for both clients and us as consultants, I believe it's essential for all members to continuously enhance their skills for long-term advancement. By offering opportunities within projects to learn and apply necessary skills, we aim to establish a foundation for all of us to level up over the medium and long term. This approach will enable us to build enduring relationships, so that when clients face more challenging issues in the future, they can call on us again with our improved capabilities. I am committed to fostering such relationships in our endeavors.
