Yui Kanazawa
Yui joined the firm in 2018 after graduating from Chiba University with an undergraduate degree in letters and working for a major retail company. She has been engaged in projects such as developing new businesses, work reform using digital technologies in industries such as finance and telecommunications. She also has experience doing BayCurrent's digital marketing.
Why BayCurrent?
My priority was to gain a broad perspective. I decided to join BayCurrent because it is a general consulting firm with a “One Pool" system where consultants belong to a single division without industry boundaries and can experience a wide variety of industries and themes.
Career Vision
I would like to gain further experience and enhance my knowledge and skills in domains related to new business development and marketing strategy that I have experienced in my projects at the firm. I will strive to improve my own performance and market value as a consultant, as well as the BayCurrent brand.

Desire to gain a broad perspective was fulfilled beyond imagination
In my previous job in the retail industry, I was working to become a professional in the fashion sector. While I did feel fulfilled by being able to create my own strengths and work using them, I was also worried about locking myself into a specific field at a young age and wondered if a different field would suit me more. I put my desire to gain a broad perspective first and decided to join BayCurrent. I made that decision because BayCurrent is a comprehensive consulting firm with a "One Pool" process that allows consultants to gain experience in a variety of industries and themes—everyone is in one department with no industry divisions. Upon joining the company, I gained more experience than I could have imagined through chances to work on everything from strategy to IT. It's very rewarding to be able to put myself in an environment that perfectly suits my desire to gain a broad perspective.
Exploring the possibilities of digital in the Digital Innovation Lab
Working in the Digital Innovation Lab has given me opportunities to support digital projects and implement BayCurrent's digital strategies including solution development, human resource development, and marketing activities. I'm primarily involved in digital marketing, which involves sharing information about BayCurrent and its consultants through the media and other means. I've had a lot of opportunities to share information, which has included contributing to BayCurrent's DX owned media, "Digital Insights," and serving as a lecturer for in-house training. It was very exciting to follow digital—which is made up of technology with hidden potential—and having a place to output research and its results as articles and training gave me a sense that I was growing and achieving something every day. Being able to actively participate and grow from a young age is also a major feature of BayCurrent.
Aiming to hone my DX skills and become a high-value consultant
While I do feel that I've been able to gain a wider and deeper perspective than expected since joining the company and taking on a lot of challenges, I do feel that I need to start moving toward identifying my strengths soon. I'm very lucky to have built up my career in the Digital Innovation Lab and developed skills and experience in DX and corporate and personal branding. Moving forward, I want to continue developing these two skills, increase market value as a consultant, and do my best to further improve BayCurrent's value and brand.
