After graduating from Keio University, he worked at a global consulting firm before joining Baycurrent in 2019. He specializes in business management and organizational transformation, primarily for clients in the manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, and high-tech industries. Throughout his career, he has supported a wide range of projects across all phases, from strategy and planning to execution. He is committed above all to helping clients achieve successful transformation. He also serves as Offering Lead for the ERP Functional Group.

Why Baycurrent?

In my previous role, I was part of the Manufacturing & Distribution practice. I decided to join Baycurrent because I wanted to work across a broader range of industries and have greater autonomy in how I approached my work.
When I joined in 2019, I was initially concerned about the cultural differences between a global consulting firm and a Japanese one. However, those concerns quickly disappeared. I was struck by Baycurrent’s open culture and agility across the organization. The company has nearly tripled in size since then, yet it has retained those qualities and continued to grow by aligning around shared goals and moving forward as one team.

Career Vision

I aim to remain fully committed to helping clients achieve successful business transformation while continuously expanding the value that Baycurrent can deliver in response to changing market trends.
Through this, I hope to create projects that lead the industry and generate lasting value for our clients.

Pursuing the Best Solution for the Client

One memorable project involved supporting a client that was considering an ERP renewal. A large-scale system implementation was initially assumed to be the way forward. However, after carefully assessing the client's current operations and management challenges, we concluded that replacing the system itself was not the highest priority.
Because Baycurrent does not sell specific solutions or act as a software license reseller, we can assess the available options objectively and recommend what will create the greatest value for the client. The client was satisfied with the outcome, and I believe the freedom to reach such a conclusion is one of the greatest advantages of working at Baycurrent.

People, Not Systems, Drive Transformation

The success of an ERP implementation depends on clearly defining what should be handled by the system and what should remain part of business operations. Changing the way people work is never easy. However, rather than simply increasing system development, Baycurrent is committed to helping clients successfully achieve organizational change.
I believe this approach is possible because Baycurrent's focus is on driving client transformation rather than simply delivering system development.

Looking Beyond Go-Live

Completing a project is not the finish line—it is the beginning of a new way of working.
The real measure of success is whether the new processes become embedded within the organization and contribute to solving business challenges.
At Baycurrent, we place great importance on involving business stakeholders from the outset and developing an adoption plan well before implementation.
Even after go-live, we continue working alongside clients when necessary to ensure that the expected business value is realized.
Rather than focusing solely on system implementation, I believe our responsibility is to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Private Life

I am a big fan of hot springs and am always on the lookout for my next weekend getaway, even if it is only a day trip.
After perhaps enjoying a little too much good food and drink, I recently started paying more attention to my waistline.
I am now working on getting back in shape through strength training, walking, and the occasional game of basketball, a sport I have enjoyed for many years.
