After graduating from Rikkyo University, she worked at a major systems integrator before joining Baycurrent in 2023.
She has supported ERP implementation and transformation projects in retail, distribution, and manufacturing, from planning and requirements definition through implementation and rollout.

Why Baycurrent?

While working on SAP implementation projects at my previous company, I became increasingly interested in being involved earlier in the process—helping clients clarify why change was needed and what they wanted to achieve, rather than focusing solely on building systems.
I chose Baycurrent because it offers the opportunity to drive transformation end to end, from strategy and planning through implementation and adoption, drawing on a broad range of solutions beyond SAP.

Career Vision

I aspire to become a consultant who can determine the right balance between standardization and each client’s unique business needs, and lead transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation and adoption. By bridging management perspectives and frontline realities and turning diverse stakeholder views into action, I aim to become a trusted consultant whom clients specifically seek out for their most important initiatives.

Learning to create a clear basis for decision making when there is no single right answer

One of my most memorable assignments was the initial planning phase of an SAP implementation for a food manufacturer, where I helped analyze its current business processes. After identifying the key challenges, I worked with stakeholders to define the desired future state and outline the transformation needed to achieve it.
Manufacturing, procurement, and logistics often rely on practices tailored to individual sites, so an ideal future state cannot simply be applied without adaptation.
By grounding our discussions in frontline realities, I helped clarify what should change and what should remain, building the shared understanding needed to move into the next phase. This gave me a strong sense of accomplishment unique to the planning stage.

From “building” to “solving”: defining the right problem and seeing the solution through

In my previous role, I gained hands-on experience in ERP development, maintenance, and operations while gradually expanding the scope of my responsibilities and expertise.
At Baycurrent, consultants engage directly with clients regardless of seniority. I work with clients to define the right problems to solve, structure key issues, and lead stakeholders toward alignment.
I am also expected to develop practical and sustainable solutions that take operational constraints and post-go-live adoption into account.
Even when working on highly ambiguous challenges, I enjoy building hypotheses, refining them through discussion, and driving projects forward.
While the responsibility is significant, it is equally rewarding to see tangible results. As a result, I feel that my experience is creating greater value for clients, and I have experienced a new level of professional growth.

Becoming a team leader who drives progress through issue structuring and stakeholder alignment

Going forward, as a team leader, I want to bring stakeholders together, structure key issues, clarify decision-making criteria, and define roles and timelines to drive problem-solving initiatives forward. I also want to identify challenges early and create an environment where team members feel comfortable seeking support, enabling us to resolve roadblocks quickly and deliver consistent results as a team.
By promoting knowledge sharing and developing team members, I hope to improve the repeatability of successful outcomes and strengthen the organization's overall ability to execute.

Private Life

Recently, I traveled to South Korea with colleagues who joined the company at the same time I did. As fellow mid-career hires, we have a comfortable relationship that gives each of us plenty of independence. Meeting at the destination and going our separate ways afterward felt very “consultant-like”—practical and efficient—but what I appreciated most was being able to spend time together without any pressure or formality.
Even without a fixed itinerary, we enjoyed beauty treatments, shopping, and great food, and the trip was a refreshing break. I also enjoy casual outings with friends my age, including picnics, barbecues, and snowboarding. Maintaining a clear balance between work and personal life helps me make the most of both.
