Worked as a manufacturing operator and in production management at a major domestic instant noodle manufacturer. Has held his current position since October 2018.
At the customer of major automotive company, he was responsible for cybersecurity development for automotive components, as well as compliance with vehicle cybersecurity regulations such as UN-R155 and UN-R116. Why Baycurrent?

I placed a high priority on finding an environment where the value I create—based on the knowledge and skills I’ve cultivated over the years—is fairly recognized, and where I can truly feel that I’m contributing to the development of the domestic security industry through my achievements.
I was drawn to the fact that, as a domestic consulting firm, I could contribute to solving societal issues and that the value I provide is fairly recognized. Additionally, the company has a career counseling system that takes each employee seriously, which made me feel that the company truly values its employees as its most important asset. Furthermore, since the sales team operates separately, I felt this was an environment where I could focus on the areas I wanted to tackle.
Although a specialized team had not yet been formed at the time, I was drawn to the fact that the company was actively taking on security projects. In addition, I was impressed by how the employees approached their work with sincerity while remaining natural and energetic—without feeling pressured.

Career Vision

To invigorate the domestic security industry, we aim to become a leader in resolving the security-related challenges facing society. As the widespread adoption of Frontier AI erodes the market value of individuals who merely offer critical analysis, we are committed to remaining a team of highly action-oriented professionals.
We also intend to help our colleagues grow into action-oriented professionals and build better careers.

Turning Challenges into Growth: Rediscovering My Roots in Cybersecurity

My first cybersecurity project was an information security enhancement initiative for a major life insurance company, which I joined in December 2019.

At the beginning, I struggled to keep up with meetings filled with technical terminology and found it difficult even to take accurate meeting minutes, which was a humbling experience.

However, this experience taught me to view gaps in my knowledge not as weaknesses, but as opportunities for growth. From then on, I made it a habit to stay up to date with the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape, prepare thoroughly, and actively ask questions whenever needed.

Through this approach, I was able to contribute successfully to the project and see it through to completion. Looking back, this first assignment became the foundation for the perseverance and resilience that continue to support my career in cybersecurity today.

Establishing the Cybersecurity Function Group

One of the most memorable experiences during the early stages of the Cybersecurity Focus Group was my involvement in designing and driving a talent development program.

What stood out to me was the speed of decision-making. Following a single incident, discussions quickly expanded to include executives across multiple offices, and by the very next day, the initiative had gained significant momentum. This experience highlighted the strong interest and expectations surrounding the cybersecurity domain across the firm.

The opportunity to help shape and expand a new initiative firsthand is one of the most exciting aspects of being part of a growing organization, and it is a unique experience that few professionals have the chance to gain.

As the Cybersecurity Focus Group continues to grow, I hope to contribute to its development by sharing the knowledge, experience, and insights I gain through my own growth and challenges.

Vision

Cyberattacks can have a significant impact on business operations while also creating considerable anxiety and stress for those affected.

In response to these challenges, I aspire to be more than just a provider of expertise. I aim to work closely with clients, gain a deep understanding of their issues, and support them through the entire process of resolving complex challenges.

By helping clients reach a point where they can genuinely say, “Your support made a difference,” I hope to create meaningful value and contribute to expanding the impact of the Cybersecurity Focus Group in addressing society’s evolving cybersecurity needs.

Private Life

On my days off, I enjoy fishing, visiting bakeries, and going for walks to recharge.
