Sustainability

Baycurrent Determination

At Baycurrent, we address the issues that confront the government and industry-leading companies, thus supporting the sustainable development of our clients.
However, it is the sustainable development of society that means that the issues confronting companies continue to grow more complicated and evolved, resulting in demand for our business of providing consulting services. We therefore developed the thinking that the sustainable development of not only ourselves and our clients but society in general, as well as a state in which a healthy global environment is maintained, are our essential management prerequisites.

Since the SDGs were unanimously adopted at the U.N. summit in 2015, the achievement of sustainability has been growing increasingly important worldwide with each passing day. I believe that these views on sustainability are consistent with the management prerequisites that have been passed down at BayCurrent Consulting.

We will institute sustainability-oriented management and continue to provide our clients with our accumulated knowledge to help them achieve the same, thus contributing to building a sustainable society and achieving sustainable economic growth. I believe these are our duties as one of the largest consulting firms in Japan.

Participation in initiatives

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The SDGs are a set of international goals for the 15-year period from 2016 to 2030 specified in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted at the UN General Assembly in September 2015. They comprise 17 goals and 169 targets. We believe that the SDGs have three factors of economy, society, and the environment. We take action to achieve the sustainable development goals of the United Nations with an awareness that these factors are interrelated. In particular, we are proactive in taking initiatives in support for the development of the next generation, nursing care support, workstyle reforms, diversity, and the prevention of harassment. We will remain proactive in driving initiatives to achieve the 17 SDGs and build a sustainable society
