Seiya Mochida
After graduating from Keio University, he joined Baycurrent in 2020.
He is primarily engaged in developing new businesses and launching new services in the mobility and financial industries.
Why Baycurrent?
I decided to join Baycurrent because I was drawn to the "people" here. When I was a student, I viewed consulting firms as consisting of so-called "honor students"—smart and intelligent individuals, but I struggled to find those who were genuinely engaging on a personal level. This created a conflict even as my desire to become a consultant grew stronger. However, everyone at Baycurrent was not only charming and interesting but also intelligent. I was increasingly attracted to the kind of person I wanted to become, which ultimately led me to join the company.
Career Vision
I aim to lead and build a strong new team.
Gaining the trust of my clients is essential, but I also believe that the best way to contribute to the company and grow personally is to develop the next top salesperson, strengthen my team, and elevate other existing teams.

Creating Intangible Value and Exceeding Client Expectations
In the Production Department, I am involved in acquiring new clients, expanding existing client relationships, conducting job interviews, and providing career advisory services. In my sales role, I tackle the challenge of delivering intangible consulting services and conveying value to experts across various fields. When I exceed client expectations and secure projects, I experience a strong sense of personal growth and fulfillment. Additionally, when my subordinates achieve success by applying the guidance I provided, it gives me even greater satisfaction and motivates me to strive for even better results.

Learning from Higher-Level Employees and Enhancing My Own Value
Working with senior managers from client companies and partner-level professionals within Baycurrent, I have had numerous opportunities to engage with their high-level perspectives and deep expertise. I feel that my significant growth has come from continuously exploring how I can contribute value while aspiring to reach their level. Moreover, through my interactions with diverse individuals, I have identified common traits among "successful people" and "influential people," which has helped me clearly understand the kind of businessperson I want to become and recognize the gaps between my current self and that ideal. This realization has been a major driver of my personal development. I aim to continue striving to be a role model and inspire my juniors.

Leveraging Challenges for Growth in New Areas
I am eager to apply my past experiences to new industries. Although venturing into unfamiliar fields has always been challenging, I have felt that these experiences have strengthened my foundational skills. While I have managed accounts and taken on various responsibilities, I still consider myself in the growth phase as a businessperson. At this stage, I am focused on rapidly developing through diverse challenges, acquiring a wide range of values and knowledge, and aiming to provide value to clients across all types of projects.
Private Life
On my days off, I often enjoy playing golf with colleagues and clients.
Engaging with them outside of work allows me to learn not only about professional matters but also about their perspectives on life, making this time very meaningful. Although I may sound serious, the truth is, I simply love golf!
