Why Baycurrent?
My decision to join Baycurrent was influenced by my encounter with an outstanding strategy consultant. Before meeting him, I did not know much about the consulting profession, but his intelligence and impressive demeanor were evident in our conversations. I developed a strong desire to work with him and to emulate his qualities. While I met many people in my previous job, this particular consultant resonated deeply with me, and I felt a strong urge to grow in an environment where we could pursue our goals together.
Career Vision
I aim to become a dual-skilled professional, excelling as both a data scientist in the AI field and an LCA expert in the environmental field.

Plan and Launch a New Alliance Service from Scratch
The most memorable project was launching a new service through an alliance between a telecommunications company and an amusement facility. We introduced a service that captured and sold videos of people's expressions while riding attractions. For this project, we planned the service from scratch and were involved throughout the entire process, including system development. I was particularly impressed by our efforts to understand the needs of the target young demographic by observing their behavior around the attractions all day and by devising edge computing solutions due to the limitations of the hardware at that time.

Both Technical and Business Skills Are Essential
experienced firsthand the challenges of monetizing a new service. I learned that even if you can build a system using the latest technology, it does not guarantee that it will deliver value to customers and generate revenue. In the early stages of the project, I mistakenly believed that technical success would directly translate into business success, but the reality was different. Due to insufficient market research and a lack of deep understanding of customer needs, the services we offered did not resonate with customers, leading to difficulties in monetization. However, this experience taught me the importance of not only technology but also creating and effectively communicating customer value. As a result, I gained a deep understanding of the importance of a business perspective and customer focus, significantly enhancing my business strategy skills.

I Want to Use My Expertise to Contribute to Baycurrent's Development
In the future, I aim to develop my expertise in AI and environmental fields into core business areas for Baycurrent. Generative AI holds the potential to significantly enhance a company's competitiveness. I plan to propose and drive reforms using generative AI to bring innovation to our clients' businesses. Additionally, environmental issues are critical for all companies to address. I aspire to lead my clients' efforts in the environmental sector and contribute to achieving a sustainable society. I am committed to solving problems in AI and environmental fields and contributing to both our clients' growth and the development of a sustainable society.
Private Life
On my days off, I enjoy playing baseball with a team formed from my coworkers. After the game, it's customary for us to go out for yakiniku and beer. Regardless of the game's outcome, I look forward to these moments because they are filled with laughter and a sense of fulfillment.
