Why Baycurrent?
I hadn’t yet decided on a specific career path, so I was attracted to Baycurrent's one-pool system, which offers the opportunity to gain a broad range of experiences. Additionally, witnessing the high level of insight from employees at a similar seniority during the selection process highlighted the rapid growth potential, which was a key factor in my decision to join.
Career Vision
I aim to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to execute projects effectively, as well as problem-solving abilities from the customer’s perspective, so that people will say by name, “Shibuya-san was great.” By tackling projects across various industries and themes and continuously broadening my expertise, I aspire to become a consultant capable of addressing a wider range of challenges.

A Project Accomplished Through Collaboration
Since joining the company, the most memorable project I have worked on is the new product development project for a life insurance company. This project required benchmarking competing products and revising existing products, necessitating accurate reflection of user requests while maintaining close collaboration with the system development team. To lead a project involving 200 people to a timely release, I identified current issues, clarified priorities, and proactively promoted solutions. As a result, everyone’s efforts paid off, and we successfully achieved the release on schedule.

The Power to Transform Adversity into Strength – Days Spent Tackling Market Changes
This project encountered several challenges, including conflicting opinions between the planning and system development teams and the release of a higher-specification competing product. With a need for a significant redesign, it was essential to quickly build internal consensus and adapt to changing market conditions. Despite these obstacles, Baycurrent members persisted, engaging in thorough discussions that were described as “how far will we go?” Their tenacity and problem-solving led to a successful release of a new product, meeting the client’s quality standards. Through this experience, I learned the importance of personal responsibility, the ability to face difficulties with conviction, and the critical role of leadership.

Pursuing What Only I Can Do and Reaching Even Greater Heights
In the future, I aim to pursue what "only I can do." The essence of a consultant lies in "personal charm," and I believe enhancing this charm requires a broad and deep range of experience. By actively challenging myself in unfamiliar areas and expanding my experience, I hope to widen the scope of what "only I can do" and improve the quality of outcomes I deliver to clients. I also want to develop a charm that positively impacts my Baycurrent colleagues.
Private Life
On my days off, I enjoy playing golf with colleagues, seniors, and juniors or going on trips with my family, spending my time as I wish. One of the joys of this job is maintaining relationships with colleagues I worked with on past projects, even after the projects have ended.
